ABOUT ME
A curious mind with a lot of tabs open.
Hi, I’m Megan. My path has taken me through education, libraries, technology, and counseling, which might look like a collection of unrelated interests until you notice the common thread: I’m fascinated by how people learn, make sense of things, and find their way through complicated systems.
I spent more than 18 years in public education, working as both an educator and librarian and developing a particular love for literacy, technology, information, and making complicated ideas easier to understand. More recently, that curiosity led me to graduate study in clinical mental health counseling and a growing interest in neurodiversity, executive functioning, and the many different ways human brains work.

I’m also someone who likes to make things. Sometimes that means educational resources or designing something; sometimes it means writing, researching an obscure topic far beyond what was reasonably necessary, or starting a new project because an idea wouldn't leave me alone. I’m happiest when curiosity turns into something useful.
Outside of work, I’m a reader, a nerd in several different directions, an endurance-sports enthusiast, and a person who is almost certainly learning or making something I did not need to turn into a project.
Curious by nature. Creative by inclination. Compassionate by choice.
